The
drugs listed are the commonly used veterinary drugs for sedation
and anesthesia. While many other drugs and dosages can be used.

Descriptions
of various gas anesthetics, injectable anesthetics and analgesics
are available. All controlled substances, including ketamine,
have to comply with our WSU
and federal guidelines.

Our goal is to make sure animals are properly sedated and/or anesthetized,
and there are many different ways and agents to use to achieve this
goal. Beware of the hazards of waste anesthetic gases in the laboratory.
Ethrane
and enthrane are names for enflurane. Enflurane is used in
the same way as isoflurane and halothane.
