Tricaine methanesulfate (MS 222´) 25-100 mg/L

Sedative effect 1:40,000 dilution (25 mg/l); Anesthesia effect 1:10,000 -25,000 (100 mg/l H 2 O; Induction = 1-3 minutes; Recovery = 3-15 minutes; do not use with salt water

Benzocaine 25-50mg/L
Sodium Amytal Freshwater: 0.05-0.08 g/L

Saltwater: 0.1 - 0.16 g/L

Quinaldine Sulfate Tropical marine: 200 mg/L H 2 O

Warmwater species: 15-70 mg/L H 2 O

Etomidate 2-4 mg/L
Metomidate 4-5 mg/L
NOT RECOMMENDED:ƒChloral hydrate, Chlorobutanol, Methylpentynol, 2-phenoxyethanol, 4-styrlpyridine, Tertiary amyl alcohol, Tribromoethanol, Ether, Urethane
